Quran and science facts You must know about

quran and science facts

The predictor is said to have acquired the holy Quran for the first time in 609 CE. The Quran, the Muslim holy book, holds a number of scientific facts, although having been written during a duration when science was not very important. Over the course of 23 years, the spirit Jibraeel (A.S) exposed the contents of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The religious guides claim that these observations were later recorded by the Prophet’s colleague, who served as scribes. The core religious text of Islam and a source of universal wisdom is this spiritual text (Quran And Science Facts).

The Quran’s scientific miracles

The Quran’s miracles are intricate and multi-layered. Even before they are discovered, some of the most well-known scientific miracles are explained in the sacred text. Black holes, genetics, the Big Bang Theory, the Theory of Relativity, and more are all covered in the holy book. It is clear that Quran and science facts are not mutually exclusive. Surahs actually describe the scientific discoveries found in the Quran. But until science developed to the point where it could demonstrate the existence of such occurrences, several of the Surahs were difficult to accept. Nowadays, it is reasonable to assume that the Quran just mentions complicated facts, and science serves only as evidence for the information included in the book.

9 Surprising Quran And Science Facts

  1. The Big Bang Theory of the creation

“Have those who mistrusted not considered that paradise and the earth were a joined entity, and We divided them,” says Allah (SWT) in Surah Al-Anbya (Quran, 21:30). All particles in space are shifting away from the Earth at rates comparable to their distance, meaning that the farther an item is from Earth, the faster it is moving, agreeing to Hubble’s Law, which was developed by American scientist Edwin Hubble in 1929. Soon later, Einstein learned that galaxies are also drifting apart, indicating that the universe is expanding in general.

  1. The Quran’s Big Crunch Theory

The Quran also debates science, including the Big Crunch theory, which justify how the universe will end. The assumption, which is based on Einstein’s general relativity theory, debates how the kuzma that started with the big bang will ultimately be destroyed as a result of it. It is a speculative scenario that describes the universe’s destiny and explains how the elaboration will finally reverse and the universe will break down.

  1. The Protection of the Sky

“And We made the sky a protected ceiling, but they, from its signs, are turning away,” declares Allah (SWT) in Surah Al-Anbya (Quran 21:32). It is a scientific reality that the earth and all life on it are shielded from the sun’s damaging rays by the sky and all of its gases. Life on Earth would end if there was no protective layer since the temperature would drop to -270.556°C, which is the same as the temperature in space.

Quranic Embryology The study of fertilization and embryo development is the focus of the biological field of embryology. At one point, the main religious scripture discusses embryology and cites a key scientific finding from the Quran. “We created man from an extract of clay,” it states. Then we firmly fixed him like a drop in a settlement. The drop was then transformed into an Alaqah (blood clot), which was then transformed into a Mudghah. (Quran 23:12–14).

  1. Meteorites’ Iron Content

“We sent down Iron with its great inherent strength and its many benefits for humankind,” according to Surah Al-Hadid (Quran 57:25). M. E. Walrath asserts that iron is not a naturally occurring element in the earth. According to scientists, meteorites struck the globe billions of years ago. Iron was found in these meteorites, and because of the explosion on Earth, we now have access to iron. As previously said, the Quran has already informed us of this reality when it says, “We sent down iron with its great inherent strength.”

  1. Cloud Formation

In variation to today, when elementary school students study about how clouds develop, this was not the event in 609 C.E. However, the Quran still properly explains how clouds develop. “Have you not realized how Allah causes the clouds to move tactfully, then joins them, then forms a load, and then you see the rain come out of it?” the novel asks.

What truly occurs is accurately described here. In actuality, the breezes softly push the little clouds, and those that are close to one another combine. A vertical updraft occurs at this point, causing the upper portion of the cloud to rise higher in the sky. This causes various cloud components to rise to different elevations, giving the impression that numerous clouds are stacked on top of one another (stacking). Given that this investigation was conducted just two centuries ago, the Quran’s reference to this scientific fact is prescient.

  1. Sunlight journeyThrough Space

“And it is He who standardizes  the night and the day and the sun and the satellite; all [glorious bodies] in an orbit are drifting,” says Surah Al-Anbya (Quran, 21:33). Still though it was only widely used  by starwatcher in the 20th century, it is now largely typical  that the Sun, Moon, and every other figure in the world are orbiting and moving consistently, rather than being persistent as was formerly widely trusted.

  1. Receptors for Pain

“We shall send those who reject our revelations to the (hell) fire,” says Surah An-Nisa. We will replace their burned-out skins with new ones so they can still experience the agony: “God is all-powerful, all-knowing” (Quran, 4:56).

For a long time, it was believed that the brain controlled feelings and pain. Nonetheless, it has been found that the skin contains pain receptors. Another illustration of the Holy Quran’s scientific wonders is the fact that a human could not experience pain [12] without these pain receptors.

  1. Lobe in front

Allah revealed a verse to warn Abu Jahl, a vicious and repressive tribal leader during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), in Surah Al-Alaq. Allah (SWT) responds there: “No, truly! We will grab him by the forehead, his sinful, lying forehead, if he doesn’t stop (Quran, 96:15-16).

  1. Within the Oceans

“Or [they are] like darknesses within an unfathomable sea which is covered by waves, upon which are waves, over which are clouds – darknesses, some of them upon others,” Allah (SWT) has revealed in Surah An-Nur. One can scarcely see his hand as he extends it [therein]. And there is no light for the one to whom Allah has not given light (Quran, 24:40).

Remarkably, oceanographers have reported that, in contrast to the conventional wisdom that waves only happen on the ocean’s surface, waves can also occur internally, beneath the water’s surface. These are invisible to the naked eye and can only be found with specialized equipment.

Concluding remarks

Both scientists and followers are still fascinated by how the Quran adjusts with up-to-date methodical findings. These passages, which were exhibited more than 1,400 years ago, create an absorbing nexus between faith and science by displaying ideas that are opposite to current scientific knowledge. These verses certainly lend a sense of surprise to the timeless text of the Quran, whether you approach it from a sacred or scientific point of view.
